Mr. Dowdy joined Gregory R. Giometti & Associates, P.C., after serving three years as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Dennis J. Hall, of the First Judicial District of the State of Colorado. Prior to his employment at the First Judicial District, Mr. Dowdy was an associate at a Denver firm where he represented clients on litigation and business organization matters. He was admitted to practice in Colorado in 2006. Mr. Dowdy received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2006, and graduated cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2003, with a Bachelor of Business Administration. While at Loyola, Mr. Dowdy interned for the Honorable Ronald A. Guzman, of the United States District Court. Mr. Dowdy was also employed for two years during law school at a Chicago firm where he focused on commercial litigation. Mr. Dowdy is a member of the Colorado Bar Association.

Other Positions

Mr. Dowdy is Vice-President of Friends of Berthoud Pass, a non-profit organization that promotes avalanche education throughout Colorado. Mr. Dowdy is an expert skier who has skied from the summits of almost 40 of Colorado's 54 14,000 foot peaks.
